The Metlakatla Skate Park is more than concrete, ramps, and rails. It's a place to belong. A place to learn something new, build friendships, express creativity, and spend time together.
Built for the youth and community of Metlakatla, the park provides a welcoming space for skaters of every skill level—from someone stepping on a board for the first time to experienced riders pushing themselves to the next level.
But our vision reaches beyond skating. We want this to be a place where relationships are built, creativity is encouraged, culture is celebrated, and young people know that their community believes in them.
